BLI made New Haven brass hybrid steam loco HO I-5 4-6-4 leads Walthers eight heavy weight passenger cars.

Baggage car and Diner are missing.Passengers need to carry their luggages into coaches and bring sandwiches with them.

There is something wrong with the headlight.

Beautifull engine. Do you notice some differnce between the Brass Hybrid and the regular engines? What brand do you prefer? BLI or MTH?

Hello. I find a brass-hybrid engine has much better texture and enough weight to pull many coaches.

It's a quite difficult question to answer which brand I prefer BLI or MTH. I think it depends on the model shape,mechanism and price.

Yes, I payed about $350 for this BLI made Hybrid engine. Now BLI is accepting second-run preorders for this model and the list price is $450.

Thank you for answering anyway. I understand. I don't have the experience yet with that brands, but that will change in the future I hope. I can imagine it is a difficult choice. You have the experience to compare so maybe I could learn from that
