I never knew you had rats - they're so cute. I used to keep gerbils until about 2 years ago when the last one died. I love how yours took the food and then ran off to hide - they look like such fun pets! We've only got a cat now, but he's nowhere near as fun as Batman and Joker (not Robin!) - he just eats sleeps and bites when you're not stroking him! (His name's Pickles, by the way.)

@CruellasFurCoat Thanks. Cats can be funny can't they. They had a cat at work who lived in the airing cupboard and only came out to be fed and didn't like being touched! lol. I like the name Pickles!

I`m not trying to upset you or be rude, like i said your obviously a responsible pet owner all i`m asking is that you think about caging animals from the animals perspective. Us humans get these animals and just because we feed and water them we think we own them. We think because they`re our pets it`s gives us the right to make them conform to how we want them to live and behave. We deny them what is natural for our own pleasure and that`s wrong.

@acidhouse100 I often think about being anti-pet but can't help thinking of all the unwanted pets in shelters with no one even getting them out of the cage etc. Its a double edged sword to be honest.
