Mr Marron goes for a walk

Large electric blue marron goes for a walk over his rocky decor. Excuse the white 'snow', it is just duckweed caught in the filter current.

@whiteboypatrickkelly Pretty big, they are generally sold by weight. This guy was over a kilogram.

@Samsemilejah Yup, well, more of a clean orange colour :) Apparently blue ones are preferred by cooks because they turn a nicer shade.

how do u keep those little platies in the tank

@mrod1726 Very very low decor and a very well-fed cray in coolish water. I wouldn't recommend it if you are very attached to the platies though, as you can lose them. The general trick though, low decor, SMART topswimmers (read: not guppies) and a temperate tank. Tropical temps ramp up the metabolism of the cray and they get very active and very hungry. Smaller fish are faster and harder to catch.

nice, iv got mine in a 500litre tank with large cichlids, i love their big forwad pointing spikes on their head like a crayfish
