Thank you for making this statement! If I move to another country, I would not expect them to learn my language or expect them to put their signs in english.. If people have a problem with that, they need to go back home. My in-laws immigrated from another country in the 50's. In order for them to stay, they had to learn english and my father-in-law had to join the Army for 2 yrs. They were grateful to be able to do what ever they needed to do to stay. I understand that you think and expect people to learn and speak and understand English when they come to the United States, but do you think that other countries expect the same out of us? are we not just a big melting pot now and should we not be resonable and at least try to understand what non english speaking people are doing and is that not what ESL and LEP class are for in school now a days. Dont get me wrong sometimes I feel the same way but people do try there best when they come here.
