@AJazzGuy1 YOU WERE THERE !! In detail, what do you remember ? What sticks out ? I met Buddy face to face about this same time after a show and he was SO SHORT and those hands were so POWERFUL looking, like they could kill you in a second. The guy STILL brings me to TEARS !! 12.17.11

One of the greatest moments of my life, being in this studio that day in 1981 for the telethon and having the opportunity to meet Buddy and the band backstage after they played my favorite big band tune at the time. WOW! What an inspiration for me to go on to a career in music. Thank you Jerry, thank you Buddy and thank you band!
