Kids in Kilts

This short documentary by CYPB Alumnus Leigh Cousins, Andrew Crighton and Ryan Ovadia gives a bit of insight into an outstanding youth organization: The Colorado Youth Pipe Band (CYPB) is a youth bagpipe band of kids under the age of 18 in Denver, Colorado. The organization was founded in 1989 and teaches the art of Highland dance, drumming, and bagpiping. Members of the CYPB compete each year around the world. One of the largest of these competitions takes place each August in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. "Kids in Kilts" is the story of the members of the CYPB on their journey to the Rocky Mountain Highland Games in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The CYPB has been preparing for months and will showcase their skills, competing against 9 other adult pipe bands. Will their practice and preparation pay off?
