I don't understand why everyone hates somova ? She's has beautiful extensions and she is turned out, but she is solo flexible. Why does everyone say thar's a bad thing. It's like a new standard in ballet to have certain height in your extensions, so then why do people feel the need to hate and say she isn't expressive because of her extensions?

Leonid Sarafanov is so perfect dancing Etudes, Swan Lake, Corsaire, Don Quixiote, etc etc...

@aharper12 i feel like alina is a bit overrated as a dancer....she really doesnt do it artistically for me...im a huge dsipova fan and im glad she's not your typical flaky dancer.. i appreciate the strength

@odile77 Tereshkina might be better technically, but I'll be damn if I pay my good money to see Tereshkina in this or any other role. I want to see SOMOVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Her technique is quite sloppy here (she doesn't close a single clean fifth), but I think that's more an issue of stamina than anything...she looks verrrrry tired

I watched this after watching Tereshkina in the same part... waaaaay too much difference, Somova is definitely talented but she is very far away from other principals, and this is a very demanding role...
and LS rocks! he is so great!

she has beautiful feet! She just had alittle trouble showing them off but if you watch the video again you can see how lovley they are.
