  • Not bad! However why didn't you give us the actual video footage...like a video version of PhotoKnockouts. I assumed they are all filmed against a green/blue screen and using AE Fill we could have made our own Silhouettes. That I would have bought...but not this.

  • @tuhind This is specifically shot for Silhouettes, and the way we shot would not have been useful for what you are suggesting. This is a different use than a video version of PhotoKnockouts. This is "clips as animated elements". I completely understand your point, but we see this as an animation product not a video clips product.

  • @digitaljuicetv As a After Effects user, I do necessarily see a difference between an animated element and a video element - I can use either or both in a project to create something. It would have been cool to have real people "cutout" to use in an animation or in a video.

  • @tuhind Agreed, both are very useful but the way you shoot them can be different. In live footage the actors facial expressions, looks, and wardrobe all play a big role. For this kind of product the action, position of the hands, prop, etc are more important. It's true given just the right clip both things can be achieved but our goal in this product was specifically silhouettes and we budgeted and planned it out to that end.

  • pretty cool

  • this is very nice, but way over priced...

  • You need a dancing people silhouettes.. Also it would be nice if they dance in a specific song tempo (i.e. 128bpm, 140bpm)..

I just suggest the idea.. It's up to you guys :)

    Great work btw

  • fantastic idea for a product.

  • @digitaljuicetv I agree with the points you are making - I'm a film maker as well and I'm sure there's a massive market for silhouettes. I've used DJ products for many many years and I've probably used something from the range in every video I've ever produced - from the Jumpbacks to the Texture Toolkits but personally I will hope that sometime in the future you might release "Video Knockouts" or something!!! Keep up the good work!!!

  • Love the product, in fact i love all your products, now all i need is the skill to use them :)
