our congressmen/women ARE elected officials or Employees, healthcare is a benefit of the position. Healthcare is not a right, but a service provided by people for people. If our federal goverment stuck to the founding fathers views, we would not be in the financial situation we are in today. Social medicine, education, and local gevernance should not belong in Washington D.C. but in your State, County, City.

This is about power and a radical agenda to transform America into a socialistic system. Please do your homework on Pelosi and her ilk. They will never ever participate as patients in the system this horrid bill proposes. They don't give a rats ass about you.

I'm apalled by public employees like Congressman Reichert who themselves have government-funded health care but would deny it to the rest of us. It sure seems hypocritic to me.

One immediate protest over this abuse within the administration and congress is to cancel the membership of a group that sent Obama campaign funds -the AARP! And you thought they represented senior citizens!
