  • where can i get this album? do you have a title for it?

by the way, i've been up all night reading your blog and listening to all he singers that you have showcased.

  • @JPSovereignStrikes The album is long out of print. It is Westminster Hi-Fi-, XWN 18776. Not sure of the publication date, but I bought the LP around 1961, about 50 years ago. I'll check to see if there has been a CD re-issue, and let you know.

  • @JPSovereignStrikes The Album, Hughes Cuenod, Italian Troubadour Songs, is actually listed on Amazon.Com, but as "currently unavailable." I have no idea what that means in reality. There is a CD featuring some songs by Cuenod, "Hughes Cuenod, Vol. 6 - Des Troubadous a la Romance by Thomas Crecquillon, Alonso de Mudarra, Charles Gounod and Hugues Cuenod (Audio CD - 1997)" but it is very expensive, and I'm not sure how many songs by him are actually represented.

  • Spetacular...

Makes me extremely emotional listening to a voice like this in such a repertoire, so delicate

  • @RamirRMA Yes, delicate is exactly the right word!

  • merci infiniment

  • @21katering Merci! J'ai toujours admiré sa façon de chanter!
