This is a look at some Australian gold nuggets shot closely with the Kodak Zi8 camera. Its a bit jumpy because hand holding such a small camera, up close to very small objects is tough. Without the Image Stabilization on, its a real shake fest. Macro is on, of course. Its shot at 1080p. Picture quality is very good, as I'm shooting fairly small (5 - 10 gram) nuggets, thru plastic tubes. Detail on some nuggets is great. Gold is hard to shoot, because of its brightness. I know this is a long look at the nuggets, but I wanted to let the camera have a good look at the gold. I hope you enjoy having a long look at some natural Australian gold nuggets. • When you find beautifull rocks like that, who wouldn/t want to melt them down to make gold bars.Cheers, VB Ed.

  • @SuperHorse666 Isn't that the truth. It seems a shame to do that. Thank you very much! :)

  • All I ever find is dust. But, that should be no surprise given that the river I pan/sluice is pretty low. I did find one 'nugget' that was almost a picker. About the size of a sugar ant.

  • @SakaScotii I've found little pickers too, more flower gold than anything.

  • I bet those are worth something today! :D

  • @Sheety33 I love it too! I bought these when gold was $500.00 an ounce. Thank you my friend! :)

  • @SakaScotii By low, I meant that it was far away from the hills, the source, not that it was well below normal stage.
