Yea, earplugs are a must for long rides with an aftermarket pipe.
Do you have any other mods installed? Ivan's jet kit + airbox hack is well regarded.

@geonerd Certainly has a "bark" to it. I usually ride with earplugs so it isn't too loud when riding. But the neighbors might have a different opinion when I'm warming her up at 7am before a ride.
