Hi, I have this same hedge trimmer (HC1500) and it works the only problem is that around 10 minutes into the job while turning the trimmer vertically and back horizontally while trimming it dies out. I can restart it after a few pulls, but then the above scenario happens again. I've tried adjusting the H/L screws according to the carburetor instructions online, but it still behaves the same. Do I need a new carb??

@GenMata if he has any problems ask me

@th19940305 Absolutely free Many people have given him old non-working engines to play with.
He has a John Deer/Echo 50V chain-saw he has had some problems with.
It's close to running. He is replacing the fuel line today.

Took carb apart and soaked it for an hour.
Be sure to take diaphragm off.
