Principal Osgood agrees to jump from the top of the high school into a fireman's net as a publicity stunt, but gets cold feet as the hour for his leap nears. He fakes an injury, and tries to convince the male teachers to take his place.

I love Eve Arden because ot the radio show, Our Miss Brooks and Life Of Riley were my top favorite comedy radio shows , too bad there are not as many tv show as there are the radio shows

Some of the gags have stood the test of time! Like hanging up on Mr. Boyton twice! LOL. Did you know that the macho Jeff Chandler played Mr. Boyton on the radio version?

you aint lying!.. this show rocked! i've got all the mp3 old time radio shows of this show. i keep listening to them over and over again!

gale gordon at his best! he was amazing! god rest his sweet soul! plus, eve arden was hilarious! it's a shame that the entire cast is gone...but their fantastic work lives on. i hope that someday that they put this entire sereis on dvd.
