If it was a 200 lbs ray you would of lost all your line. Also with 15lbs line you would of fought if for at least 3 hours.I have fought many bat rays for hours on 20lbs test that weighed 140lbs or more. I had over 500 yards of line Braid backing and mono top shot on my penn 950 ssm and almost got spooled more than once.

ok will see that is the biggest penn spinner penn make and ive been through numerous battles with monster rays can you not hear him peel like a few houndred yards besides my van stall will smoke your 9500ss and so will i beides thats what drag is for and i went down on the beach to try and beach him but the thing with rays is they run a few hndred yrds and then dig into the sand and its hard to get them out learn something boy 200 lb ray isnt that hard to handle.i was just catchin shark bait!
