I hope you're not a smoker. I've had quite a few fags burn out between my fingertips without noticing. I've also dropped quite a few unawares, which is a whole other kettle of health and safety fish. Yes, I know, I should quit.

I did it with a hot cup of coffee :O Was visiting my mother and she handed it to me by the handle as it was really really hot (she says) and I just wrapped my numb hand around it and started drinking wondering why she was looking at me with her mouth wide open and a look of disbelief! Ouchie. Well, not ouchie becasue I couldn't feeling it, but you know what I mean...

That is scary. It is crazy, isn't it? people who are not numb wonder how these things can happen, but it really is easy to get burned!

Craziness. I too got burned. I however fell asleep on a heating pad (sore back). In the morning I jumped in the shower too, and discovered a nasty burn on my side. Now a thick scab, it resembles beef jerky. But wow, yeah, we gotta be careful. I didn't even feel my flesh cooking.

I am out of the relapse, but I actually got burnt again! This time at the sauna. I leaned on the wood wall and didn't realise there were nails in it. They burnt three holes in my skin, and I didn't know. LOL! I am becoming a bad example!!
