@RandomStevie Lmao. I was that sort of football player till last year when I looked up every BROZ and Pendlay vid on utube and did a shit ton of research. Now I know better :P
Wow. No safety catch bars? The kid was clearly getting close to his max. What happens when it's to much? Think his spotters gonna catch him when he's standing 5 ft back? Nope. Some kids gonna get hurt and there's gonna be a big time lawsuit if they don't get some new equipment.
@liamdanielmccarthy No such thing as "more than he should". And I guarantee you the coach didn't tell him to use his back. The body naturally wants to move forward. Let me guess; you're a football player who listens to everything his coach tells him about lifting?
you're right, having a 16 year old kid using all back, lifting more than he should, to get 1 rep is very sound advice LOL. This kid has a bright future, as long as he refrains from damaging his body.
@RandomStevie Theres always that one percent ;)

@hsefootball36 You dump the weight. They're using bumper plates, the safety bars are the ground.

@liamdanielmccarthy Please inform one of the two best lifting coaches in the United States how he's teaching "dangerous" squat form to people.
