Diana Ross Never sung in the background for a no talent like mary wilson.

@kurtsupreme - Girl REALLY!! It's Diana Ross's voice that sold all the records that put them in that little rock and roll hall of fame, Haha they sure as hell didn't make it by dancing and clapping in the background.

Out of 10 supremes Diana Ross was the only one with enough TALENT to move beyond the supremes. Diana became a SUPERSTAR and mary wilson became a wardrobe lady, showing all of Diana's and Cidy's old dresses

If it wasn't for Diana Ross there never would have the supremes. Diana's voice sold the records, they sure as hell didn't get in that little Rock and Roll hall of fame by dancing and clapping in the background. Yeah mary wilson got in by riding on Diana Ross's coat-tails

The rest are forgotten? Oh, that must be why THE SUPREMES are honorees at THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME.............not DIANE as a solo act. You know, while I am writing this, I'm listening to the banter in the background. Between the background vocals and Diane's lead, the voices are totally foreign and, in no way, resemble anything familiar about the orignal recording...........and Diane sang LEAD on this song! To be unrecognizable??????????? As I said, "A Grammy for Granny!"

@sammy7819 Actually, both Mary and Diane sound pretty bad. None of the members of the legendary trio have ever sounded better as solo acts, The SUPREMES were just plainly a BETTER act than any of the individual members as solo acts. As For Diane and the Grammys............that's a hoot! Never won a grammy and getting a lifetime achievement award. Grammys for Granny! What a scream!

Even the full symphonic orchestra and the "substitute" Supremes can't save her! Thank God the world spoke, had this tour cancelled and brought Diane DOWN!
