Darkfall is a sandbox game and as such there is no right or wrong way to play. There are many options and routes to take in character development. This guide is essentially how I'd play if I were starting from scratch again with the knowledge I currently have. It also contains some beginner tips and tutorials.

personally i think this series should be the very first sticky thread you see when you go to forumfall. watching these videos would have saved me quite a bit of headache when getting started. good job on explaining how to get rolling in darkfall. because as of now, 90% of what you covered here is not apparent when you start playing, which it should be.

consider making videos covering advanced concepts. maybe something focused on pve or pvp.

@RyanT1310 a little comprehension will be your friend. That or simply read further than the word quit before you rage reply. Quitting forces DF to save bindings, you'd know that if you read the whole comment instead of trying to look cool.

@WartyWarlock as a noob it should take u like 5 mins to do ur bindings anyway o_O

ive lost my bindings which consisted of 10 full hot bars and it still never made me quit

Didn't have sound on but you missed the most important one - as soon as you finish setting up, QUIT the game, DF is stupid and wont save your binding til you quit (and if it crashes..which it probably will..) you'll lose it all.

@TheTrampolineMen seems fixed now but standard AV lack of care, they didn't even acknolwledge the 20 players they have reporting the issue until everyone started making hundreds of thread on it.

can please someone help me? i downloaded the free trial and every time i log in, its ok for a while, with 600-800 ping, and all of a sudden it goes up to 40k ping and then i cant preform any action and start lagging which gets me killed, then i get logged out becuse theres an error with the server, please help me if you know what to do, i really want to play this game
