i replaced my hard drive on my ipod photo. did the restore steps and it asked to charge. i left it charging for quite some time and just have a picture of a charger and wall socket??? any pointers?

helo,i have a problem with my ipod 20gb ,padlock appears on the screen in top left, in the right side battery icon and the screen reads: Do Not Disconnect.Sometimes when you connect to the computer screen is a link. @MrSmile40 It could be an issue with the hard drive, HDD cable. As for the lock issue, the headphone jack and hold switch assembly may need to be replaced.
