Psychogenesis - Edgar Cayce's Cosmology

Edgar Cayce's Cosmology 6c: Psychogenesis -- In his book entitled "The Bone Peddlers", author William Fix lays out the concept of "psychogenesis" as an explanation for how mental processes could have materialized physical forms in the ancient past. Fix defines psychogenesis as "the initiation of a novel form of creature through the activity of a psychic -- that is mental or spiritual -- agency."

Fix begins his argument for the holistic nature of humans by citing the abundant literature on spiritual and mental healing. He postulates that such healing is simply a manifestation of "mind over matter," which in parapsychology is called psychokinesis. Positive reports of psychokinesis come from parapsychologists who announce significant findings based on subtle effects, such as the ability of certain individuals to psychically influence the output of random-event generators.

In terms of creation and evolution, this could account for the ability of souls to create thought forms that gradually materialized into physical bodies. Manipulation of the genetic material of such biological entities via a form of some form of psychokinesis (such as psychogenesis) sounds very much like the "moulding" process cited by Edgar Cayce as means by which souls gradually formed prehuman flesh bodies in Mu and Atlantis.

Psychogenesis is a logic explanation of Cayce's metaphysical assertion that spirit is the life, mind is the builder, and the physical is the result.
