Here is my run Saturday night after putting a hurting on my clutch Friday night. Guess this proves I need a new clutch.

  • .... i love the black smoke and sound of the diesel engine... too bad ford eliminated it in their new 6.7L diesel

  • I am sure that will be solvable for racing applications. It will just take a little time.

  • which type of cluch did you have screaming all 150 ft there

  • That was a South Bend Dual disk that didn't have enough plate load and seen way too many hooks. I killed it the night before, but burned it off that day to see if it would hook up any - it didn't.....

  • @xmodrock yep :)

  • @MrTpengineer the new PS have common rail injection :-P they rock

  • @xmodrock There 6.4 is just as powerrful now! Omg, my dad got his computer updated in his 2010 now it blows some smoke but waists the ricers around town >:) That and pulling a camper litterally 4x the size of it :)

  • @HotRodTractor Would you still recommend the South Bend ?

  • @cndJokester i still like my 6.0 and my now gone 7.3

  • @xmodrock While I love my 7.3 the new 6.7 looks to be a great engine with more potential. Blacksmoke and noise will all happen when its pushed im sure!

  • The sounds that PSD makes...so sexiful...must have...

  • @1962Galaxie514ciMPFI id like that.. a boss 429 would be nice too

  • @xmodrock im not starting a rumor but i seen magazine articles of the new GT500 that comes out late next year with a new 5.8l engine. thats true but what i been seeing is ford might bring back the mach1 and use a N/A 5.8l as an option. its just a big bore 5.4l block.

  • @1962Galaxie514ciMPFI i agree.. its alot more reliable.. but fords little modular 4.6L and the new 5.0L are impressive
