Thanks for some from his early teens; also the commisioned portraits. What tech access the guy had: Nabi's, Fauves, Japan, Lautrec, and many more - all at his fingertips! He may have been model-based, but he could take on many subjects with authority! Sad that his whole little family caught the flu & died, he would have done much more! Another artist of same time with such tech access was Otto Dix, very different, but do you notice missing limbs? Of both, but very different feeling?

I love Schiele, but I wish there were no effects on the images. We want to see the paintings not some blur thing.

It is certainly a gift of nature for one to take what is on their mind and put it to canvas - a great recording of history by a great master never to be forgotten - Great Post Thanks.
