They really did a fine job of adapting the Margaret Millar novel that was much heavier in details, some that obviously could not be brought to TV (or even movies of the era) - a visit to a brothel, Helen's brother in a relationship with the photographer, etc. The Dorothy Johnson character was named something else and a different ending . . .well, I don't want to spoil the book if you haven't read it.
I loved the late Miss Hackett, a beautiful and intelligent actress.

I sure wish some channel where I live would show good tv like this instead of the modern garbage they run in the gorund. You can't go wrong with Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
