✿ "POPO" (Chinese Grandma Song)

She was the sweetest neighborhood "grandma" that lived on our lane here in Hawaii. She always said, "Hi" to everyone and wished them a "good day." Popo always brought a smile to our day :)

I wrote this song for her. (Popo means "grandma" in Chinese.) She didn't speak a lot of English, but the few words she did speak really touched me. ... No matter where you live, I'm sure you know of a sweet "grandma" that you love dearly. ...By the way, for all of you who are fans of my son Skye (aka homestarrunnertron), he is the first little boy in this video.

I still miss my Popo, and she wasn't even related to me. ...but on the other hand, I do need to remind myself that we are all family in God's eyes. ...And we must both remember that we'll get to see our Popo's in heaven someday. But until then, the memory that we have is a treasure for sure. Popo really made quite an impression on me. She was such a loving individual. I'm sure your Popo was too =)
