Every time I've been there, never ever have I've seen a boat or watercraft on that body of water---plenty of dead fish though to be found.

This song gives me gas, and always has. Truly. It makes me recall riding the Zipper at the State Fair until I got sick and vomited. And then thinking about that incident upsets my delicate stomach, which causes gastric disturbances, which lead to horrific bottom-burps.
Now I'm gassy again, and it's so foul that the cat has left.
Goddamn this song!

The REASON the Salton Sea is abandoned and there are massive fishkills have nothing to do with the Salt Level.. It has to do with the Corporate Agricultural run off that causes severe algae blooms! Which suffocates the fish and all life. IT IS A TOXIC wasteland, just remember.. Instead of stopping those polluters or regulating them.. The California government didn't do anything about it! The People left and now you have an Apocalyptic wasteland!

I love the place. You have to go there in August during peak Tilapia season, it is worth the trip. The smell you can't put into words.

What's the attraction? It looks like a wasteland of rusted, abandoned, corroded garbage. I'm being serious.....what is the attraction? The water is dangerous, the fish are poisonous, apparently the odor is nasty, and there's nothing there. So, again.....what's the attraction?

Again...you are a fool. I love it there, and will go back year after year.
its not a regular tourist attraction... its more for people who appreciate the odd post-apocalyptic beauty of it and also there is one of the best sunsets in that place. I loved it! Definitely not for everyone though!
