Originally performed for my dance school's 2007 Christmas show, it wasn't until March when my teacher Alex and I got our Sweet Dreams routine on tape. Try to concentrate on the music!

  • Great job!!, I remember that Sweet Dream song too. Well you did great, you are looking great. I liked the start on the chair too. Whats that hand movement thing you did at the end called?

  • Thank you!!! It's always so amazing to get a comment from someone as wonderful as you. ^___^ As for the hand movement thing, it's just a finale (every dance has an opening, the dancing, and then the finale). Personally I call it "ticking clock" and "Egyptian arms"! :P Hope to see you soon.

  • You're really improving! that was really good :) YOU GO GIRL, keep up the awesomeness. love that song! :D

  • It's no Sabra and Neil, but I'm pretty proud of the way it came out! :D I'm so much more happier with this routine. I'm currently practicing for my third routine for May! It will be my first ballroom!

  • hey! I love the music and the routine, you've improved alot since your last video! You seem alot more comfortable in your movements and it was very fluid- I liked it alot. My only critic is to maybe move your hands - latin dancing is about moving all parts of your body. but otherwise you're doing a fabulous job, keep up the good work!

  • Hurray, it's great to hear from you! I felt that I improved a lot as well! I totally know what you mean about the hands. I'm in Bronze 2 now, and this is the stage where we work on technique. I guess I concentrate so much on the steps that I forget about the hands! :P

  • i really hope that isnt y9ur instructer , because his footwork is appaulingg :)

  • I especially agree with you on the instructor part. I don't see much technique in his dance at all. So I take it he is not a professional. Maybe he's just her partner?

  • Actually Latin is not about moving all parts of your body. You move your lower body-legs, and you move your arms but that comes from your upper body. Your shoulders don't move besides when you do counter positions.

I've been dancing Latin in Europe since I was 6-10 years now.

  • MORE ENERGY!!!!

  • Good job! It looks like you're still learning, but here's some constructive criticism: 1) You look like you're doing the steps rather than "feeling" the dancing & music. You're dancing on top of the floor rather than into the floor. In other words, you're not grounded. Ask your instructor if you don't know what I'm talking about. 2) Regarding your dance partner, I hope he's NOT your instructor because he dances like an amateur. If he is your instructor, then get a "professional".
