I think all translations are shit. You can't feel the movie fully w/o original sound/voices..

@PeterSpaeter96 It was not my intention to make such a fuss, I'm wonedring now how juvenile I was year ago...Don't know why I wrote it. Still I didn't change my mind and I think I could not stand watching (spelled properly ;-) thx for notice!) House in any other version that original. Not only German dubbing but also Spanish, Italian dubbing, Polish voiceover make House for me unwatchable. Matter of what you're used to. Anyway sorry if I offended you or anybody else here.

@Sockengangster For me original is always better,but I realise that you all are right and that it's the matter of what you're used to. In Poland House airs with voiceover and it sucks even more than dubbing. Also no matter how good translator is, he'll never be able to translate all jokes & word games used in original. That's why I prefer to WATCH(this time properly wrote) it in original and I couldn't stand any other version, no matter if it is Polish voiceover or German/Spanish/Italian dubbing

I#ve got all the DVDs that are available in germany and to be honest...the german voice sounds much more impressive than the english one. Bute nevertheless, most of the time, the original versions are better!

...well, yes, and then you should learn that 'watch' is spelt with a 't', and then you can thank God for that as well.

Now really!

Apart of that, it is somehow commonplace to complain about dubbed versions of films and TV serials. But this one is definitely better than the rest - and I don't think everyone in Germany, Austria, Switzerland understands English well enough to grasp every single finesse, every hidden pun etc. of the original version.
