2011 Paul Lacoste Sports Fit 4 Teaching Kick Off

During the summer break, select teachers from across the Jackson metro will compete with one another in the 2011 Paul Lacoste Sports Fit 4 Teaching challenge, presented by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation, to motivate other Mississippians and their students to get healthy.

For 10 weeks, staff members from Canton Public School District, Clinton Public School District, Hinds County School District, Jackson Public School District, Madison County School District, Mississippi Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), Pearl Public School District, Rankin County School District and Mississippi Head Start teachers will compete against each other and their waistlines for four days a week at Jackson State University's Walter Payton Health and Wellness Center.
