At the beginning, the firefighter was talking about using the building for training. After several training sessions of burning parts of the building, they just wanted to burn the building down completely. The more it burns, the less of a mess there is to clean up at the end....just a bunch of ashes, lol.

At the time i would have prefered 'wildfire' by Kim Fowley as a soundtrack, but now sitting here alone and drunk I choose 'these days' by nico. lame isnt it.

The building had already been donated by Antioch to the Fire Department for live training, and having become too much of a hazard even for that, it was burned down for... I don't know, dramatic effect? If you're the only body in the city with the power to legally commit arson in the middle of the day, and you have a building you're not using, what else do you do?

I loved Norment. My partner and I lived next door to Ari, under Henry Cherry, Andrea was on the otherside, Nina, um who else? We uesed to have coffee and donuts on tuesday mornings in the living room. Antioch loves to desytroy the past.
