@mihaiafk I've learned and still am learning both. Northern jumps are difficult for sure, but the taolu as a whole are quite simple. Southern forms on the other hand, have SO many moves packed into just a few seconds that they look simple, when in actuality they're much faster and much more physically demanding.

"witch is harder then northern styles" dude wtf they have 2 jumps and north has 10 jumps north tao is allmost run and hit and jump and kick and jump and fall on enemy and south is moving arround screaming and be mean.....

Its astonishing that a guy his age who was at the top of his form a DECADE ago can come back and compete against the worlds best now, after all the changes that the sport has gone through... incredible. And that 360 to side! only he jing de can do it like that
hes doing nanquan (southern fist) which is harder than northern styles and most whushu. due to the southern china's geographical and enviornmental features (more swamps, trees, cities ect) means that they have less room to move, and the art developed to be hard, short, and devastating.

whatever. he might be going faster but he is still far far better than the iranian guy, he looks like he is trying to hard and pulling face's like that just made me laugh not scared.
