My Harmony built re-branded Silvertone Newport H42 stratotone - noodling about with some Hollywood Fats and T-Bone Walker inspired riffs to demonstrate the range of tones you can get out of this thing.

Played through a little Fender tweed champ, with no effects. Check it out - at least the tuners still work!!

  • Sweet guitar and playing. Hold on to that one bro!

  • sell it to me!!!

  • Yes! - just heard Jr Watson play his last week at a master class in massachsetts. it is a neck-through-body pine or alder fat-neck guitar and sounds like the biggest baddest juiciest jazz box you ever heard....

  • Wow Mal... This guitar looks like a toy and sounds like heaven! I wish I could play one someday...

  • hi man

    nice guitar huge tone

i have a H45 - Stratotone Mars and wonder about the pickup you have and wiring

i have on main a schaller old pickup but it has not connected

    any help would be great

    thanks !

  • Reminds me of the '60 strato by grandad left for me when he died. That guitar had more mojo than my hot-rodded tele. My brother-in-law threw it out with the trash. I STILL hold that against him. Had to sell Grandad's 1958 5-watt fender tweed champ when I was homeless. All I have left of gramps is his 1920's Honer French harp.... and that damn thing bends a note like nobody's business! BUT... that amp got me back on my feet. Forgive me Gramps. :)

  • cool

  • Can I recomend you Junior Watson? Great playing!!!Thanks.

  • wow!

  • Dude, you got it. Thats the way the swing blues is to be played. Where in the hell are you at. Would like to see you play live..This is my favorite style. Like it like that in Texas..
