State-of-the-art Lab & OT areas at AMRI IVF with special air cleaning devices

The air we breathe is filled with microscopic particles that dont bother us. But they can be highly toxic to a tiny embryo that has no defenses unlike the adult human body where there many levels of de-toxification systems. The air in a "clean room" lab uses special air-handling systems. They cleanse the air with special filters and kill germs with unique ultraviolet lights. This air is 1000 times cleaner than normal air. We are proud to say that the IVF laboratory at AMRI IVF department is unique in the Indian subcontinent as we have given priority to environmental quality. This is of high significance as the air pollution level at Indian Metro cities are very high and playing major role in many health related issues. Laboratory quality plays a major role in distinguishing IVF programs from one another. Human embryos are sensitive to contaminants at the molecular level. Appropriate screening and quality control of air, media and any equipment that comes in contact with the embryos need to be constantly undertaken. For example, we are especially concerned about molecular contamination of our air and the laboratory utilizes world class air purification systems to provide a clean air environment for our patient's embryos. The laboratory utilizes multiple different filters to optimize air quality.
