This video shows a method of folding Depron which can be useful in the construction of Depron planes.
This method results in a neat appearance which strong. The video turned out to be longer than planned so I broke it in two . The plane shown in the video is made of 3mm Depron with a dry transfer applied called "Canvas Transfer" from Papilio. This method of finnishing is light and quick and repeatable.

  • plans please

  • @rooei66 , RC groups doesn't let you type in web sites but maybe we can get around that. At RC Groups I did a build of this plane including PDF's. Here is the address but I've changed the periods in the address to "DOT"

    rcgroupsDOTcom/forums/showthreadDOTphp?t=1063754

If you have problems getting there or any other questions please send me a message.

  • roy is that miglet going to be a flying model for rc

  • I'm pretty sure I lost the data for the Miglet when I had a computer crash. That type of configuration might work good indoors with a 30 mm fan. My first objective is to get the 30X -White 8 flying and then I want to do something scale.

  • @FlyHighRC386 , The Miglet was supposed to be for a 30 mm fan a couple of years ago. At the time I was working on it I had a computer crash and the technicians took about two months to fix it. I didn't know I would be without my computer for that long. The project was postponed and since then it was overtaken by events. I'm embarrassed to say it but I have a lot of projects that are on hold for one reason or other. The last two days I've been drawing up something that looks like a Lippisch P13

  • how big is his plane your building

  • It has a approximately a 330 mm span (13 inches) and depending on how it is configured shoud weigh between 50 and 65 gm. There are videos of the original EDF and the pusher on my channel.

  • 0ooOO what a calendar..

    wow small planes

  • Thanks, I'm surprised more people haven't used this method. I've been using it for many years. I hope to do a landing gear video that I believe is unique and works on micro to medium size planes. I have to get a 30X built first though.

  • awesome just as i came to watch this 10 minutes before i was using this method lol 5*
