This is not the interview which, it is claimed, he was hung-over or drunk or both.This interview was given last year around the same time.Spin doctors are obviously working over-time on this one.(at tax-payers expense,of course.

i love the way the govermanet say they have a job to do.they didnt do there job in the first place or we wouldnt be in this mess.the last budget they said we all have to pay but no we didnt all pay. it was working class and lower middle class and lower middle income public sector that paid. the rich and wealthy did not pay. there still rich and looking down the nose at rest of us smiling. i voted fianna fail i wont be ever again. the choice was bertie or enda not this fool nobody voted for him

Certainly not good news but the taoiseach is very coherent in his utterance and doesn't sound hung-over to me! No halting or mumbling that I can notice but quick-flowing responses to the interviewer's excellent, hard-hitting questions. As expected, he does dance and dodge.

Brian has "a job to do in the budget", "in the interest of the taxpayer", for "the good of the country", etc, nonsense and bluster from an overpaid and understimulated premier.......when finance minister in Aherns post Haughey government he squandered billions and billions of taxpayers monies by giving to the bankers, the bondholders and the builders, while taking from society, from the disadvantaged, and from the poor. Hard decisions taken now as he did not have the balls to take them then.
