Incredible footage of the Men's Keirin final. Hoy wins but behind, all hell breaks loose.

  • look malaysian rider foot......

  • @muserazak to stop a track bike you need to keep pedalling.. the pedals and gear system are fixed to the wheel so if you start stop pedalling the wheel jams and he'd have flipped the bike, instead he kept pedalling, took an outside line and avoided the crash...

  • gold and silver :) nice

  • @muserazak Haha chill out - it's not like they all died! Crashes happen in this sport and he was going to win anyway, it's just one of those things. There is nothing disrespectful in his actions.

  • he's not like nani.. cry baby cry.. hahahah ynwa

  • Hoy is an absolute beast!

  • Great footage. If you pause you can see that splinter through the guy's leg!

  • All these cyclist are at the top of their sport. Dedicated, Hard men and focused on winning. Yes that is the reality of sport at it's highest level. The type of person who reaches that pinnacle doesn't get there by pussy footing about. They all know the score. It's man against man in a bicycle race which is why people go and watch sport. A spectators knows it's far outside their own capabilities.

Sir Chris Hoy gave the crowd what they wanted. Good for him. I was lucky enough to be there.

  • Anyone who says Hoy was a poor sport for showing his excitement for his victory, are messed up. I've won races and been happy, but a World Championship? That would put anyone's joy over the top! Congrats, Chris Hoy!
