is it just me or does elena kind of gasps when he says ''i will always choose you'' i think she was deeply touched and that was very romantic but phsyco as well...that s why i love damon :)

@Cassandra765 But remember,I said within limits.Because you are committed boyfriend\girlfriend\husband\w­ife to someone,it doesn't mean,that you should stop caring,for others,I understand that,.Nevertheless,some persons,move on with their lives,and do not ever look back,at their parents\relatives,valid reasons or not.And we do love very selfishly.At the end of the day.We are way tooooo selfish to truly love.

@Electra709 Well, I don't think the bible means it the way Damon means it. If I met someone like Damon and they said that to me, it wouldn't make me feel loved. It make me feel like his personal feelings for me matter than the love I have for my family and friends and he's okay with my emotional suffering as long I live. I guess that's the way I view and that's why it's not romantic to me because I feel it's more about his need for her rather than her.

@Cassandra765 It is certainly,an interesting situation to be a part of.Its a beautiful thing,for Damon to say and Elena to hear (I WILL ALWAYS CHOOSE YOU).On one hand,it makes her feel so protected,and loved.And on the other,hearing it being told so blatant,obviously,have her filled with mixed emotions.Its ironic,that with marraige,the bible states,for husband and wife,to forsake others,as they take they marraige vows.But I suppose that within limits.

I'm sorry, but despite popular opinion, this scene isn't romantic to me. If someone told me that they would gladly let the people I love die for me, I wouldn't find it romantic at all.
