  • Blue Murder is incredible, sad that Underbelly gets more coverage because it is mostly shit. Martin and Roxburgh are flawless throughout. I think Wolf Creek, imo, is one of the most overrated horror films of all time.

The Boys is a very good film. Chopper is one of those films I can watch again and again.

Other films I love are The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith, The Tracker, The Magician, Everynight, Everynight, Stir, Ghosts of the Civil Dead, The Proposition, Breaker Morant and Wake in Fright

  • @Shagrat65 Its interesting to hear other peoples opinions and of course i respect it :) As for me, i personally think Wolf Creek is one of the best Horror movies ever to come out of Australia, but i can see that its not for everyone :) Thanks for the great comment mate! :)

  • I haven't seen Wolf Creek, didn't hear alot of good things about it.. Should I buy it?

The Boys? Sounds very good actually, haven't seen that either..

Wow so many I haven't seen, shame on me!! Definitely need to write these down..

Great vid bro'.. Thanks for the list!

  • @steelbookaddiction Mate personally i LOVED Wolf Creek. Its not for everyone, but the violence is very REAL and BRUTAL! ... very slow start but its not as slow as most say. I absolutely loved it. Maybe rent it before you buy it. The Boys is a very different film. Disturbing on different levels.

Great comment my friend! Thank you :)

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP IT WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED THANK YOU :-)

  • im definitely going to have to check out these films.

there is one Australian film from 2000 (i think) that i really like &

thats a horror called "Cut" its cheesy but really fun

  • @SpannersGerm669 Fair enough mate. What do you think of more recent films like Balibo, Animal Kingdom and Red Hill? I loved all three, some of the best films of the past couple of years I'd say. Really want to see Beneath Hill 60 as well, and The Nothing Men.

  • @81oakridgSTF Blue Murder is an Australian television movie that pretty much is only available in Australia i think. pity, because its VERY brutal and on a true story. Neddy Smith was a psychotic criminal and he had a secret partnership with the head detective Roger Rogerson. Awesome stuff. If you ever get the chance, check it out.

Have a great day my friend!

  • Great video! Mary & Max was one of my favorite movies of last year. I wasn't prepared for how emotionally involving it was. Really excellent... Wolf Creek is a great horror film after it gets cranked up.... Some of my Aussie favorites are Walkabout, Rabbit Proof Fence, Jindabyne, and even the strange Picnic at Hanging Rock which is kind of hypnotic.. I wish we would get more Aussie films here in the states. But I see where Chopper is available so I'll have to give it a view. Again, great video!

  • I like this video concept. Love the Mad Max films! I liked Storm Warning a lot, I preferred it over Wolf Creek personally. I still need to see Chopper, very cool list you gave me a couple others to check out. Great video!
