uh what's your point? - That Hitler was a demagogue? Pretty obvious and not very sophisticated analysis. He and his Nazi'brown shirts' killed and imprisoned thousands of Socialists, Communists, unionists, workers, clergy, and intellectuals. Hitler was the arch enemy of Bolshevism. He was no Socialist. Capitalism (Krupp Armaments) thrived under the rule of the Nazi party.

Where's there any evidence that Amy Goodman and Democracy Now is funded by big business? Check your facts and stop making reckless accusations. How so you expect people to believe your alternative 9/11 theories when you state ridiculous falsehoods like this?

The fact that good ideas have been executed poorly throughout history (or just spoken aloud by power figures to lie to people) doesn't justify dismissing the good ideas. Likewise, "Capitilism" (ie what they call capitalism...it's not even close actually) plus military & econimuc strangulation that "works" and benefits a narrow minority doesn't justify maintianing the status quo.

Your ideas are simplistic...I suspect it's because you are a simpleton.

Capitalism or so-called capitalism that we have here in the US is "simple" because it's engrained and thrust upon us already. Again, status quo and going with the flow is of course simple. Change is difficult (but needed) and seemingly rule laden but that's the nature of change. BUT there are exactly ZERO economic systems that don't have a phone book worth of rules even this so-called capitalism.

The main point is: comparing or equating socialist ideals with Hitler quotes is mental sloth.

@onede You realize Germany has had a large socialist influence since the 19th century right? You must also realize that Hitler was a sociopath who would go on to manipulate his citizens with socialist rhetoric. The first thing he did when he actually took power was burn down the Reichstag, which would be blamed on the marxists. He instilled fear and distrust of socialism among the Germans and he tied marxism to German jews. He wasnt so anti-capitalist when US companies were building his reich.

Amy Goodman is a hero and should be commended for her depth and commitment to good journalism, and fair reporting, anyone who calls her a liberal or trys to put a label on her to denegrate the good work she does is not really saying anything signicant about her they are showing how stupid and unconcious they are its that simple, keep up the good work Amy I love you work thanks for keeping em honest.

"Chomsky mouth piece" ...now that's a good one. If I were to just regurgitate everything he said & wrote then I'd be on extremely solid ground. He's just one of the most cited and brilliant people ever. It's like calling a physics major Einstein's mouth piece. Oh ouch!

Anyway, as you seemed to have surmised (if only for very shallow labeling purposes), yes many of my ideas are based on Chomsky's volumonously documented research on such issues.

He does the research, but I do the thinking.

Look, my posting on why Hitler so popular was four months ago and you started this discussion.

As for my statements in regards to the world to get involved is words I here from most progressives and socialist all the time. And they always call it new ideas. It just sounds too good to be true.
