Jeremy Irons' lugubrious tones mould my brain, ready for the story ahead. His narration is superb throughout. I can't understand how he manages to make me feel instantly sympathetic without making the character seem piteous (fantastic writing, of course, but his performance is captivating).

not to be rude, but I don't like the recent version of this classic. (the movie version)..THIS, this is the good one! everybody watch this one please! this one is the amazing one =)
