Su-33 performing "Gurza Podguzova" video

Very short and low-quality but historical video. On the 17th of July, 1998 by the carrier landing mistake of Pavel Podguzov it was discovered new aerobatic element - "gurza Podguzova" of "Podguzov viper". Only pilot's professionalism and highest Su-33 flight performance allowed this situation not to became a disaster.

I couldn't believe my eyes that this was done with ordinary turbofan engines, when I saw this the first time. Awesome skill on the part of the pilot and a simply awesome plane.

This has nothing to do with thrust vectoring.

It's about engine thrust first and symmetrical airflow over the wings secondly. The way out of this is flying up untill you have enough airspeed to drop the nose again to horizontal flight or fall back and roll. But only after regaining enough airspeed.
