i really like my honda with the blade stop and all that, but i miss the simple regular mowers with 1 bar, a throttle control, and a self propel know on the side

What i love about Honda's small engines compared to B&S, is their quick gas-response.

i got the same engine on my craftsman side discharge, bag, mulch, self-propelled mower....mine has an automatic choke/throttle on it

why do you have side discharge and not bag ?

@tiger5525 I dont think this model comes with a bag just mulch and side discharge.
I dident want a bag anyways i just like mulching.

Lol, I have the same engine as you and I got confused about the position of the shut off valve as well. No wonder it was hunting when I ran it, I just got it so I wasn't too familiar with it. XD

hey jay i have a honda push mower with that gas shut off i never use it. just a thought. mine is a couple years old now,. it is on a mtd chasis, with the swivel front wheels . awesome on flat ground!!! god luck and keep posting!!!

@blackbill44 sweet, I use it because i trasport it in my truck alot and i had an issue with gas getting in the oil.
swivel wheels would be cool to but are they a bit of a pain on hills?
