why did they just show the red bar no audio no tone no beeping no computer voice? what if someone is in the other room or in the kitchen making popcorn LOL

Interesting. I have family in WI who have Cox cable, and both the cable system and local stations use the EAS tones and voice announcement from the NWS. Cable Provider?
