awesome! But, it seems like if the batter misses the pitch completely, it's only a strike? Wouldn't the logical way be that it is an out? This means that if the batter holds up the pointer and middle finger, and the pitcher holds up the middle and ring finger, It would be a strike and the batter wouldn't be out. I think it would be a more logical way to play.

Thanks for the 'awesome', nobingo120. Please see Lesson 1.1 on balls and strikes. Getting into balls and strikes slows the game down, but it requires more strategy.

Have a look at the advanced lessons. Basically, the pitcher throws 4 pitchouts. That's done by shooting no fingers. The runner takes first. The pitcher would then attempt to get the batter to hit the ball on the ground by shooting all 3 fingers, hoping the batter will shoot the ring and middle finger. Of course, the batter knows that and is likely to shoot all 3 fingers looking for a home run. The pitcher knows that, too. But that's baseball.
