Am I the only one who feels like weeping over how great music used to be and how s**t it is now? I bet this song was cut in a garage for 10 dollars but it still moves me - along with a hundred other great one-offs from this era. (The Impalas, The Dubs, The Cleftones, The Skyliners etc...)

No, believe me, you are in a large club of dissenters, only we don't count any more. The pure mostly crap on the radio today gets worse and worse, I blame it on FM radio, the good music I grew up with was on AM, and still is, to some degree. I have never really listened to FM radio longer than ten minutes at a time to this day.

What a magical record. The lead singer has a great voice and the girl has one of the most primal and alluring I've ever heard. How come it has so rarely been played, even on oldies stations? I don't know if I heard it when it first came out (I was only 6) but glad I have finally discovered or rediscovered it. Can't get it out of my head. Thanks for sharing!

Who cares if most of the great music from the past were by one sot artists. It all beats the s--- you hear on radio today. You can blame the music directors and record cos. for this. If you want to hear all this good stuff tune log into rockin oldies with Ed and George on Sat. nights 6-12(EST). or 959WATD and hit on Live.
