This is a video showing some graphical improvements that can be achieved with better textures and the inclusion of a shader. I just made a video of it, textures and shaders aren't mine, so as the method to add them! Links to these resources:

  • @EpsilonSparda : I'll repeat what I just posted on the video's uploader's website, you can use a dx8 to dx9 converter to get shaders working with newer versions of the rice video plugin (even Aristote 6.1.9), you can find one on enbdev.com, all you got to do is drop the d3d8.dll in your emulator's executable folder

  • @death2a11dan yes, he used the 6.1.3 version that uses only 50% of the all textures in this pack, but can run shaders in the same version of plugin.

    I think this is a bad idea because the pack show nicely well on the rice 6.1.4, even does not show the effects of shaders, like bloom 3.

    One example than this video showed only some files, is the sky and details on the every walls in Hyrule field, kokiri. He missed that.

  • How you use the rice 6.1.4 with SHADERS and with texture pack on the same version of plugin? I searched about it but every site say that rice 6.1.4 version can't run shaders (only 6.1.3 i've done) as they say, but can't understand too, with DirectX 9 (I can't think how 6.1.4 use directX 8... Dont' make any sense, but, anyway). I configured every options in directx tab of the plugin, but not shaders + texture pack can run both in the 6.1.4.

  • do u know how to use shaders on Project 64?
