Forward Backwalking

Easier way to backwalk.

To do this, you need to tap Z, down, then hold Z. You need to do it as fast as you can.

actully backwalking isnt the fastets ( this is usefull)

ok target the air w/e turn sideways first then lock then keep clicking a (or watever im usin g cube) and keep clicking it and you will travel alot faster

Backwalk is faster than side hopping unless you're go up or down a steep slope.

...That was all just speculation. It's been PROVEN with tool-assistance that side hopping is ALWAYS faster where applicable.

Actually, side hopping is faster all the time. I'm TASing this game, and have therefore tested both, and can conclude that side hopping is always faster where applicable.

2 - Hyperspeed ISS (do an ISS with NL, set a bomb while sliding, and ISS into it. BOOST!)

3 - ISS

as young link it is. i did a spiritual stone run with sidehoping and i had 00:32:14, and with backwards walkin about 00:45:13 ;)

i've never actually played the game, so i wouldnt know, but does navi go 'hey' wenever or is she like midna in twilight princess who only does it wen nessisary.

Not true, side hopping is nearly always faster.

Side-hopping is only faster for going up and down steep slopes such as a hill or stairs.

I though side jumping was the quickest method in OOT?

It wouldn't be practical in TAS but it could be used for forward supersliding. I've tried and eventually the target mode stops. I still can't figure out how I'm getting the funny angle sidehops.
