To me the Texas/USC game was the best football game ever. But as for the BCS, james carville said it best, "BORDERLINE CRIMINAL, SHORT SIGHTED MENTAL MIDGETS". (SEC/ESPN/BCS) all one and the same good ol' boys cornering the market and getting finacially fat while screwing half the colleges. Tha'ts why there are conference re-algnments, so that half of colleges that were left out and called inferior or "non AQs" can take their share of the cash. Greedy good ol' boys, in high places, NOT GOOD.

In 2000 University of Washington got screwed.

You are right as a Roll Tide fan.... Thats was fuck up what they did to UGA in 2002. UGA had the best defense I ever seen that year! David Pollock was a beast. The only team that benefits from the BCS is USC plain & simple! They have one of the worst conferences in college football. Next would be Big Ten!
But guess what conference people fear the most!
The motherfuckin

ROLL TIDE the bcs got that 1 rite

Boise never has been screwed. They play no one, then complain no one will play them but wait til the year before to try building there schedule when most powerhouses have their schedules set a few years in advance.
The system works to an extent and it would be just as good as a playoff in that after 5-6 weeks of tough competition in a playoff any team could fold and have a bad game but that wouldn't mean they are not the best. Also it would destroy the sanctity of the regular season.

I disagree with the past years. Auburn had enough to claim a shot 5 years ago. Utah maybe last year, but not exactly over a 1 loss SEC and Big 12 team in Florida and Oklahoma. Albeit they made an Alabama team in dismay look silly for about 10 minutes then Alabama mounted a pretty strong final 50 minutes but couldn't overcome the defecit gained in those 10 minutes.

no I'm validating it because of multiple reasons...
1. USC and OU were ranked 1 & 2 in the preseason and both ran the table.
2. USC beat Auburn 23-0 in 03
3. Both USC and OU had better coaches and better players and would have probably beaten Auburn anyway
5. No it wasn't fair to Auburn but it would be complete bullshit to take an undefeated team that was ranked 1 or 2 in the preseason and leave them out just because Auburn was better than expected. it doesn't matter cuz SC would've still won
I wonder with the realingment how that will destory the bcs
