Greater Cincinnati LISC: Focus on Avondale

Cincinnati LISC co-manages the Place Matters program, a comprehensive redevelopment effort focused on several neighborhoods of the city. The Avondale, an historic district with a rich African American heritage is one such neighborhood. LISC has supported commercial and residential development, neighborhood clean-ups and organizing, as well as an award winning community-police partnership.
