  • Ya' know folks:

I have a hard time goin' to these sites of Billy.

I worked with him MANY times and (you will probably not believe this) I talked to him the nite' before he died and the last words I said to him were: 'Billy, I luv' ya', man".

(just as he was tellin', me; "Wolf, I gotta' go, my supper's gettin' cold")!!!!!!!!

Those words haunt me to this day.

(I'll swear to this on my mothers grave)

  • @MrWolfgangamadeus Easy to see why he was the man that scared Nashville. You're lucky to have known such a rare talent.

  • ....awesome....RIP bill....

  • Great song

Ralph Boyd Johnson has just finished his new cd 1723 which is the place he lived at along with Billy Cowsill. On this disk is Billy singing Vagabound!!

  • awesome !! I love it !!!

  • billy played what i wanted to hear

    \

  • that guy could play

  • I ben fortunate to meet Billy a few times whenever he was in Toronto playing with the Blue Shawdows and he was such a nice man most of us will never see the likes of again especially a man whose passion was music. My one moment of Billy Happen at the Horseshoe Tavern when he asked a few people from the audience to do back up nadclaps on Run Run Rudolph and I glady got to do it and he could tell I was right into the song. RIP Billy. it's been five years but I'll never forget you.

  • I met Billy at the Fairview pub in Vancouver,he was friendly and said it was only a job when I told him it must be great to play for a living in such a great band.RIP Billy.

  • Hi. I too worked with Billy often and I can tell you that as good as his talent as a singer always showed. Working with him in the studio doing harmonies is when you could see that he was in deed not just good but a GREAT vocalist. I will miss him always. Kevin Dunn.
